Not a Homeschooler? No Problem!
Homeschool Moms Pray! meets monthly on Zoom, and we have a wonderful time, EVERY TIME! For some reason, we are all still amazed each month about how the Lord shows up in the midst of our prayer gatherings, filling the virtual space with His presence and never leaving us disappointed. Each time we log off, we say, "It was good to have been here."
In 2023, we felt inspired to bring our prayer meeting out of the virtual space to a venue where we could meet each other face-to-face, share hugs, worship together, and enjoy ourselves in the presence of the Lord in person. That first Homeschool Moms Pray, Live! was incredible, and we knew that very day that we would have to make it an annual event.
The homeschooling mommas have continued to meet monthly, but the vision for our 2024 live event is different. We are still Homeschool Moms (who) Pray, but the Lord has inspired an even broader focus this year to include EVERY MOM who desires to take a moment to get away, breathe deeply, and enjoy the company and support of other moms who are in the trenches with them along the journey of motherhood. Our primary ministry focus is praying with Homeschool Moms, but for this retreat, EVERY MOM is invited!
Sis, we get it. Raising children and managing family dynamics can be all-consuming, and if we're not careful, we can go days, weeks, months, and... (God forbid!) years, without ever stopping to take a deep breath and think about ourselves for a while. The moms who meet each month for Homeschool Moms Pray! have been practicing, and we are happy to take a break with EVERY OTHER MOM- regardless of how you educate your children- for a weekend of Mom Matters: A Wellness Retreat for EVERY MOM.
MOM Matters: Ladies, we are the undisputed MVP of the family. We know we matter, but we don't care for ourselves as if that is true. Our families deserve a mom who is not all poured out all the time. We deserve that, too. The Lord is calling us aside for a time of refreshing, refilling, and refocusing. We matter to HIM.
Mom MATTERS: It's hard to concentrate on self-care and wellness when we are constantly confronted with matters that concern us, weigh us down, and require our attention. The Lord offers strategies and solutions for navigating our everyday lives. He’s here to share the burden and make the heavy weights light. If it matters to us, it matters to HIM.
These dilemmas aren't unique to homeschool moms, and that's why this year's retreat is for EVERY MOM, including every woman with children from birth to emerging adulthood (late teens/early 20s). MOM, If you're still in the trenches on any level, this weekend is for you!

She will be sharing from her books, MOM~Spiration and A BUSY GIRL'S GUIDE TO DREAMING BIG. Learn how to prepare, launch, and pursue your personal goals while maintaining your family relationships and household. Start by joining in the journaling project and planning the road from where you are toward the dreams you want to accomplish for yourself. Be sure to add this session to your registration.
